SkyBand Semiconductors: who we are and what we do
SkyBand Semiconductors is a France-based RF and mmWave integrated circuit design company. This update sets out its scope, its team structure and what comes next.
Scope
Our scope covers RFIC and MMIC architecture, circuit design, electromagnetic simulation, physical implementation, tape-out support and hardware validation. We work on focused engineering support as well as complete development programmes.
Team structure
Three co-founders lead the engineering. Between them they cover RF and mmWave system design, integrated circuit design and power amplifier design. A layout engineer complements them, and an external advisor contributes a separate perspective on active antennas and satellite systems.
Technology
We design in GaN MMIC and SiGe BiCMOS technologies, and RF-SOI access is in progress. The Tools page shows the status of each.
What comes next
We are developing a roadmap of early-stage product concepts. None of them is released or quoted. We also offer a free first RF feasibility review. We will publish further updates when there is something confirmed to report.
